We are killers of wildlife! I explain. The wildlife around the world is ending quickly. Since 1970, we humans have either directly or indirectly, destroying 52% of biodiversity. The information is from the World Wildlife Fund (WWF).
The Living Planet Report 2014 shows that the number of mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians and fish all over the world was reduced to half of what existed four decades ago.
According to scientist responsible for the WWF, Jon Hoekstra, in the past 40 years the world has lost 39% of terrestrial wildlife, 39% of marine wildlife and 76% of the animals that live in fresh water also has disappeared.
Worst of all is that, to scientists, the human population already exceeds the biocapacity of the planet earth. In other words, the population of the world is greater than the capacity of the land and sea to produce food, fuel and other necessities as to absorb the amount of carbon dioxide we generate.
Anyway, We are the leading killers of wildlife. We aggress planet earth and planet earth is becoming furious – earthquakes, floods, hurricanes, global warming – and can destroy us and survive alone. Think about it.
